Farley Tours the Cascade Loop, Day One -- Stomping Grapes and Slurping Wine

Our first day on the Cascade Loop, we headed toward Lake Chelan.  It was grape-harvesting time and we were able to find a couple of cool things to do on the Lake Chelan Wine Valley website.  That night we headed into the Methow Valley to camp.

Common view in eastern and central Washington.

The game may be behind us, but Cougar spirit is everywhere.

Tasting the different types of raw grapes at Cairdeas Winery.

Barrels and barrels of wine.

Poor, spent grapes.

Who doesn't love a cheesy pun?

HUGE meat and cheese platter at Lake Chelan winery.
We were blown away by the size for the cost.

The raw ingredient.

We got to have a head-to-head grape-stomping competition
at Lake Chelan Winery.

Marc's ugly--and losing--feet.

Camping in Mazama.
